The 2011 Swagger Cabernet Sauvignon, a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon from the Eagle Summit Vineyard on Howell Mountain and the Red Head Vineyard on Old Soda Springs Road, is a rich and concentrated wine with well definied acidity and lush tannins. Dark cherry, currant, blackberry, menthol and cedar box wrap around the palate in this vibrant and compact wine. The finish is long and complete with smooth, lingering tannins. This wine is amazingly apprachable now and will age gracefully for a solid 10+ years.
